Carlotta Scardovi obtained her high school diploma in Fine Arts in Ravenna and went on to graduate from the Institute for Fine Art and Restoration of Florence. Her passion for the subjects she studied there motivated her to work with renowned studios in Florence while still a student. After graduating, she was hired by one of the most highly regarded restoration studios in Bologna, where she consolidated and widened her knowledge, and learned the technique of restoring polychrome wood sculpture. In 1996, she joined Monica Ori in founding SOS Art Snc., where she works as an active art restorer with direct responsibility for the technical and practical direction of the company's restoration projects.
